THE NEW ST-MAX SERIES

MAX MOI. MAX STABILTY. MAX SPEED.

Mizuno has officially announced the expansion of its impressive ST-230 metal wood series. In February 2024, the ST-MAX driver, fairway wood, and hybrid will be available.

These additions, namely the ST-MAX driver, fairway wood, and hybrid, represent the latest in stability within the ST-230 series, solidifying Mizuno's prominent presence in the metal wood arena in 2023. A notable increase in ball speed, attributed to Mizuno’s CORTECH Chamber, propelled Keith Mitchell and his ST-Z to lead the Total Driving Statistic during the entire 2023 PGA Tour season, including the FedEx playoffs.

Now, the ST-MAX 230 driver, fairway wood, and hybrid encapsulate that exceptional performance within an ultra-stable, generously-sized profile, providing a sensation akin to swinging on tracks. Precision-engineered to deliver consistently straight flights, these additions promise reliable performance across a broad spectrum of off-center strikes.

ST-MAX 230 Driver

A low profile, wide footprint driver that looks noticeably larger than its measured 460cc. An expanded CORTECH Chamber and 54 grams of back weighting combine to create Mizuno’s most stable ever driver, with exceptional straight-line performance across its wide, inviting clubface.

The ST-MAX 230 driver unveils two new engineering enhancements to ensure that stability is backed with impressive ball speeds – a next-generation CORTECH Chamber and a new Beta-rich LFS Ti clubface.

Delivering an impressive ball flight that stays on whatever line you set it.

MAX Stability

Wide profile, massive 54g back weighting and 40% larger graphite composite for extreme twist resistance to off-centre strikes and a straight, predictable ball flight.

Expanded CORTECH CHAMBER

A dense stainless-steel weight with elastomeric TPU – taking stress from the clubface and creating an additional energy source. Lengthened in the ST-MAX and shifted closer to the clubface to maintain ball speeds across a wider portion of the clubface.

New Beta Rich Ti LFS

A new lighter, faster face material – measuring 9% higher in tensile strength (compared to SAT2041) for a complex multi-thickness face geometry. First introduced on Mizuno’s 2024 Tour driver the ST-G 440cc.

Quick Switch Hosel

4 degrees of adjustability.

ST-MAX 230 Fairway Wood

A larger footprint, wide profile fairway wood – engineered to deliver absolute straight-line performance from across the clubface.

A high-energy MAS1C steel face is enhanced by an expanded CORTECH Chamber, shifted closer to the clubface to increase both centre and off-centre ball speeds. A speed bevel applied to the leading edge ensures that performance is equally impressive from tee and turf.

A wrap-around toe composite completes weighting improvements with the collective aim of delivering an impressively straight, predictable ball flight.

MAX Stability

Wide profile, large footprint with wrap-around toe composite for extreme twist resistance to off-centre strikes and a straight, predictable ball flight.

Speed Bevel

A modification to the leading edge ensures cleaner turf interaction and speed retained on strikes direct from turf.

High energy MAS1C steel face

Incorporating Mizuno’s multi-thickness design for quick ball speeds across the face, while maintaining strength and durability.

ST-MAX 230 Hybrid

A large footprint, lower profile hybrid – engineered to deliver absolute straight-line performance from across the clubface.

A high-energy MAS1C steel face is enhanced by an expanded CORTECH Chamber, shifted closer to the clubface to increase both centre and off-centre ball speeds. A speed bevel applied to the leading edge ensures that performance is equally impressive from tee and turf.

Weight located low and deep and an ultra-lightweight waffle crown combine to deliver an impressively straight, predictable ball flight.
