Mizuno Launches the All-New Mizuno Pro Modern Series: M-13 & M-15.

Premium forged irons, now built for modern golfers

Mizuno has expanded its premium Mizuno Pro line-up with the launch of the all-new Modern Series, introducing two new forged iron models: the Mizuno Pro M-13 and Mizuno Pro M-15.

Sitting alongside the existing Signature Series (S-1 and S-3), the Modern Series has been designed for golfers who love the look, feel, and craftsmanship of Mizuno Pro irons - but want a little more help in the areas that matter most today: speed, forgiveness, and launch, especially through the longer irons.

This release is about choice - the ability to match your irons to how you actually play, without giving up the forged feel Mizuno is famous for.

In short: these irons are designed to make great ball-striking easier without losing the forged DNA Mizuno is famous for. And rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach, Mizuno has created two distinct models, each aimed at a different type of golfer.

Pro M-13: Modern Speed with Tour-Style Precision

The M-13 is the successor to the Mizuno Pro 243 and is aimed at confident ball strikers who want modern performance hidden inside a traditional-looking iron.

What it does for your game

  • Long irons (4–5) are faster and easier to launch, helping you gain distance without feeling harsh or “hot”.

  • Mid irons (6–8) deliver controlled speed, ideal for approach shots that need to hold greens.

  • Short irons and wedges (9–GW) are all about precision, distance control, and that classic Mizuno soft feel.

Despite the added speed, the M-13 maintains a consistent look and feel throughout the set — something better players really value.

Best suited to:

  • Low to mid handicaps

  • Golfers who prefer a compact, tour-style shape

  • Players who want speed help in the long irons, but maximum control when scoring

Pro M-15: Higher Launch and Forgiveness

The M-15, replacing the Mizuno Pro 245, is built for golfers who want more forgiveness and easier launch — without moving into oversized or game-improvement territory.

What it does for your game

  • Long and mid irons (4–8) launch higher and fly straighter, thanks to a hollow body design and strategic tungsten weighting.

  • Mishits are more stable, helping maintain distance and direction.

  • Short irons and wedges transition into a more compact profile, prioritising control and workability around the greens.

The result is an iron that feels forgiving where you need it, but still delivers the solid, soft strike Mizuno players expect.

Best suited to:

  • Mid handicaps

  • Golfers who struggle with long iron launch

  • Players wanting forgiveness without sacrificing premium feel

The M-13 and M-15 don’t replace what Mizuno Pro has always stood for - they simply make it more playable for today’s golfer.
