PXG Torpedo ZT Putter

The PXG Torpedo ZT Putter is engineered with PXG’s proven Zero Torque Design to help keep the face square to the path throughout the putting stroke.
Constructed from a multi-material two-piece design, the Torpedo ZT combines a precision-milled 303 stainless steel front section with a lightweight 6061 aluminum rear body. This strategic material placement enables Zero Torque performance, high MOI forgiveness, enhanced alignment characteristics, and a tour-inspired mallet profile while delivering exceptional sound and feel.

Zero Torque Design
PXG’s Zero Torque Design keeps the face square from start to transition to finish. With the center of gravity positioned just below the shaft axis, torque generated during the stroke is minimized, helping golfers maintain a more consistent face angle through impact.

Onset Hosel
The onset hosel positions the shaft axis just above the center of gravity to create a designated toe-up balance point. With the shaft axis located extremely close to the CG, the putter remains highly stable and resists twisting throughout the stroke.
Designed with a measured loft of 5°, the Torpedo ZT plays like a traditional 3° putter thanks to an integrated 2° forward press. This forward press places the hands into a natural position at address while counteracting the onset hosel geometry for consistent face delivery.

Multi-Material Construction
The Torpedo ZT combines a precision-milled 303 stainless steel front section with a lightweight 6061 aluminum rear body. The steel striking area delivers exceptional sound and feedback, while the aluminum rear section enables optimal mass placement, increased forgiveness, improved alignment characteristics, and the precise CG positioning required for Zero Torque performance.

High MOI Mallet Design
By utilizing lightweight aluminum in the rear structure, mass can be positioned farther from the center of gravity, significantly increasing MOI and forgiveness. The larger footprint also creates opportunities for confidence-inspiring alignment features and unique geometry, including PXG’s integrated Pick-Up Pocket design for effortless ball retrieval.

Pyramid Milled Face Pattern
PXG’s Pyramid Milled Face Pattern features aggressive milling geometry optimized for consistent interaction with golf ball dimples. The result is improved roll characteristics, exceptionally consistent acoustics, and the soft sound of an insert putter combined with the responsiveness of a precision-milled face.

Adjustable Weighting System
Interchangeable sole weights allow total head weight to be fine-tuned to a golfer’s preferred feel. This system provides precise customization for dialing in distance control and matching stroke tendencies, while preserving the stability and performance benefits of the Zero Torque design.
