The United States has secured yet another Presidents Cup victory, triumphing 18 ½ to 11 ½ over a determined but outmatched International Team, extending their two-decade-long dominance. This win marks the U.S. team's 13th victory out of the 15 times the event has been contested.

Xander Schauffele set the tone on Sunday with a commanding 4&3 singles-match win over former World No. 1 Jason Day at Royal Montreal Golf Club. Shortly after, Keegan Bradley, the captain for the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team, edged out Si Woo Kim to clinch the decisive point.

The U.S. began the final day with an 11-7 lead, fueled by a Thursday sweep and back-to-back 3-1 victories on Saturday. Needing just 4 ½ points to secure the 2024 Cup, the Americans wasted no time in dismantling the International Team from the opening match.

Heading into this year’s competition, the U.S. had won 12 of the 14 previous Presidents Cups, with the International Team only claiming one victory back in 1998. The teams tied in 2003. Given the U.S.'s overwhelming dominance, there may be questions about the event's future competitiveness, but for now, the U.S. reign appears secure for at least another two years. The next Presidents Cup will be held in 2026 at Medinah Golf Club, near Chicago, then at Kingston Heath in Melbourne in 2028.
