Titleist, the most popular driver on the PGA TOUR for over five years, proudly introduces three all-new GT driver models—the most advanced and highest-performing drivers to ever feature the Titleist script. The GT2, GT3, and GT4 drivers are engineered to deliver unparalleled driver performance without compromise. Alongside their exceptional looks, feel, and sound, the new line is faster, longer, straighter, and more forgiving than any previous Titleist driver.
"The GT line represents a monumental leap forward for Titleist driver design and engineering," said Stephanie Luttrell, Director of Titleist Metalwood Product Development. "The breakthroughs in materials, construction, shaping, and design were previously unattainable. All the advancements in the GT work together to create our highest-performing driver yet."
The new GT line consists of three models: GT2, designed for speed and forgiveness with a higher-MOI setup; GT3, tailored for fine-tuned speed and control, maximizing distance and optimizing flight; and GT4, a low-spin, 430cc driver aimed at reducing excessive spin for a fast, penetrating trajectory.
Each GT driver features an all-new Seamless Thermoform Crown made from a Proprietary Matrix Polymer. This ultra-light material allows Titleist engineers to place discretionary mass in optimal locations for each model, enhancing speed and stability with GT’s Split Mass Construction. The GT drivers maintain the classic Titleist look at address, with a smooth transition between the crown and the club's titanium body. The acoustic properties of the Proprietary Matrix Polymer preserve a player-preferred sound and feel. Improved aerodynamics boost clubhead speed, and the new Speed Ring and VFT face design increase ball speed on both on- and off-center strikes. These advancements combine to create an exceptionally fast driver with consistent spin and launch conditions across the face.
"When we release a new product, it has to outperform the previous line," said Josh Talge, Vice President of Titleist Golf Club Marketing. "For GT, it needed to be faster than TSR. It needed to be longer and straighter, and it had to look, sound, and feel better. GT delivers on all fronts without compromise."
GT drivers are available for fittings now, and available in On Course golf shops from August 23rd.
