TAYLORMADE P760 LONG AND MID IRONS The long and mid irons (3-7) in the TaylorMade P760 set are multi-material, hollow-cavity irons that borrow some of their technology from TaylorMade’s P790 irons.

A forged 1025 carbon steel body is joined to a lightweight SUS630 stainless steel face - that features TaylorMade’s sweet spot-enhancing inverted cone technology – while tungsten inserts optimise the centre of gravity in each iron.

The clubface is able to be made thinner and lighter thanks to TaylorMade’s patented SpeedFoam, a material that is injected into the internal cavity via the screw that is tucked away on the toe.

SpeedFoam isn’t just a space filler: it provides support for the face, improves feel, reduces vibration and helps to create a pure impact sound that befits an iron of the P760’s ilk – all clunks, thumps and tinny screeching sounds have been banished.

TaylorMade P760 long and mid irons have a classic mid-range cavity back design and aren’t nearly as chunky or wide as TaylorMade P790 irons but still offer a progressive level of forgiveness as the irons get longer.

Distance, speed and peak ball height are also enhanced to make it easier than ever to get those crucial long approach shots sticking to the green.

But importantly for Tour-ready irons like the P760, the added forgiveness in the long and mid irons won’t impact a player’s ability to shape shots and craft ball flights.
